Services
ASL work with developers, private individuals and official bodies in planning situations where an archaeologist is required, by law, to record below ground archaeological remains, as well as to record extant historic buildings.
This may also be at the pre-application stage, where we act as advisers and consultants or as the result of conditions placed on planning consent or for Listed Building consent. This may be for individual dwellings, such as extensions, through to larger development sites for new builds. If a planning condition has been placed on your planning consent, we can project manage for all mitigation in relation to the archaeological aspects, which includes working with architects and sub-contractors.
