Archaeology is about people. That includes past societies as well as contemporary cultures and at ASL, we bridge the professional gap between the two. By working with developers, individuals, government bodies and communities we provide an efficient service which makes sense of our past and records it to a high professional level without losing sight of the clients' goals.
We will work with integrity to liaise between you and the planning department, alongside the County Archaeology Team for all below ground works and with Conservation Officers for historic buildings and heritage assets. The development process can be a maze of bureaucratic procedure; ASL will offer practical solutions and clarity in such situations, whilst managing budgets for you to keep costs to a minimum. This is not at the expense of sound, academic results. Being a small firm means we can keep our budgets under control and offer very reasonable rates.
